(Baltimore, Md.) – The Dickinson College women's soccer team traveled to #5-ranked Johns Hopkins for a rematch of the 2008, 2009 and 2010 Centennial Conference finals on Wednesday night. The Blue Jays used an explosive offense to turn back the Red Devils, 5-0.

Hopkins tallied three times in the first half, following a lightening delay early in the contest. Paulina Goodman put the 5th-ranked Blue Jays on the board, just 7:11 into the contest, scoring off an assist from Erica Suter.

Pamela Vranis finished an assist from Hannah Kronick on the 25th minute before Suter connected with Goodman again to stretch the Hopkins' lead to 3-0 with 15:57 remaining in the first half.

The Blue Jays tacked on two goals in the second half, just 1:15 apart as Suter found the net with an assist from Leslie O'Brien. Amanda Yaccarino knocked in a header off a serve from Jillian Lane at the 77:39 mark.

Junior goaltender Annie Weichert (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) made 13 saves on the night as Hopkins outshot the Devils, 23-4. The Blue Jays held a 10-2 advantage in corners as they improve to 14-0 overall and 7-0 in the Centennial Conference.

The Red Devils slip to 9-4-1 overall and 5-3 in conference play. They return home to face Ursinus College on Saturday at 2:30 pm.
